Tower Dolly built by Tom Barnes, N7OVC.
This demonstrates a unique solution to getting my tower from the point of delivery (his house) to mine.
Installation of the tower base.
The tower erection went well with the only big challenge of aligning the tower and base holes after erection.  A Klein bull pin and a few drift pins proved to be the solution to this problem.
This is my 4-element SteppIR yagi with 6 element passive elements and the 40/30 meter dipole addition.  At the top of the mast is a VHF/UHF vertical.  The tower is a 70 foot crank-up DX-70 by Tashjian Towers using a motorized winch.

I initially installed the 4-element SteppIR October 12, 2005.  At that time I had a Mag 140N 40 meter rotatable dipole, but later took it down and installed the 40/30 meter dipole option for my SteppIR.  It has been a fantastic setup!
Well, I finally put up a wire antenna for 80 meters.  It is a 135 foot end-fed Zepp antenna strung from the 50 foot level of the tower to tree.  It is fed with 450-ohm window line.  Presently I am using an automatic antenna tuner at the base of the tower and then coaxial cable to the shack.
